Tricia N. Neimand is an associate in the firm’s Miami office and focuses her practice on the areas of personal injury defense, medical malpractice defense, hospitality law, admiralty and maritime claims, product liability, and complex commercial litigation, class actions and complex business disputes. She represents hotels, major cruise lines, physicians and medical providers, international businesses, and underwriters, including major marine domestic and international underwriters, in state and federal court. Prior to joining Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel, she worked for a state-wide Florida law firm where, in addition to being the Co-Director of the Appellate Division, she handled a class action in Federal court involving the Fair Labor Standards Act. She previously worked in Immigration Customs and Enforcement for Homeland Security and was the Intern for the Honorable Judge Richard Suarez, Third District Court of Appeal.
Ms. Neimand earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the St. Thomas University School of Law where she was the Staff Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review. She was recognized for the model contracts essay in the Florida Bar 2013 bar examination. She is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is a member of The Florida Bar’s Appellate Practice Section.
