Ashlee A. Pouncy joins Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel, LLP following two and a half years at the Supreme Court of Florida as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Justice Peggy A. Quince. She began her legal career as a Litigation Associate for a Florida law firm followed by her work as an attorney in the Division of Drugs, Devices and Cosmetics for The State of Florida.
Ms. Pouncy currently serves on the Florida Bar Law Related Education Committee and was a member of the Executive Board of the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter of the National Bar Association from 2012-2014. She earned her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law where she was a member of the Journal of Land Use and Environment Law and the Chapter President and Sub-Region 4 Director of the Southern Region of the Black Law Students Association. She is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida.
