I am the founder of The Axelrod Firm, PC. I provide strategic, results-driven advice and representation in employment, general and product liability, commercial, and appellate matters.
My peers have recognized me as a Super Lawyer® for the past four years in a row and this year, I was named one of the Top 50 Women Super Lawyers in Pennsylvania. The Superior Court of Pennsylvania, one of Pennsylvania's appellate courts, chose me to appear on public television to explain Pennsylvania appellate practice.
Prior to founding The Axelrod Firm, I worked at Blank Rome, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the country, handling some of the biggest and most complex of cases. I have tried cases in both civil and bankruptcy courts. One of my civil court trials, a David versus Goliath commercial defense victory, was published in "Pennsylvania Jury Verdict Review & Analysis," which catalogs the most significant verdicts in the state. Two of my briefs have been published. I am rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest rating awarded by this nationally recognized leader in lawyer ratings.
I graduated from Brandeis with honors with a degree in Economics in 1990. I then attended Temple Law School where I was the winner of the 1992 Samuel J. Polsky Moot Court Competition. After obtaining my law degree in 1993, I clerked for the Honorable Sandra Mazer Moss, a distinguished and award winning jurist on the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia, before practicing law at Blank Rome.
I am licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey’s state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels, and have been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. I am fluent in Spanish.
