Ms. Lacy is a member of the firm's Product Liability and Business Litigation practice groups. Her product liability practice is primarily focused on defending product manufacturers, including manufacturers of automobiles, industrial equipment, and pharmaceuticals, against negligence and strict products liability lawsuits in both state and federal court. In addition, Ms. Lacy represents automotive manufacturers in breach of warranty claims brought under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnusson-Moss Act. Prior to joining Wilson Turner Kosmo, Ms. Lacy served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Barbara L. Major of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. In law school, Ms. Lacy was a lead articles editor for the San Diego Law Review, a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board, and a teaching assistant for legal research and writing. She also externed for the Honorable Thomas J. Whelan of the Southern District of California and the California Attorney General's Office. Upon graduation, Ms. Lacy was inducted into the national Order of Barristers for her excellence in appellate advocacy. Ms. Lacy earned her J.D., from the University of San Diego School of Law (2009) and her B.A., from Yale University (2003).
