Sotera L. Anderson is a member of WTK's Product Liability and Business Litigation practice groups.
Ms. Anderson has extensive experience representing product manufacturers, including manufacturers of automobiles, motorcycles, household and commercial appliances and equipment, and pharmaceuticals, against negligence and strict products liability lawsuits in both state and federal court, including federal multi-district litigation and regional mass-tort litigation. She played a lead integral role on the defense team acting as National Coordinating Counsel for the nation's largest generic pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Phenylpropanolamine ("PPA") litigation. She was responsible for the day-to-day national coordination of hundred of lawsuits, including trial and litigation strategy and preparation, depositions, mediations, as well as ongoing pre-trial motion practice.
In addition, Ms. Anderson represents automotive manufacturers and dealers in breach of warranty claims brought under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnusson-Moss Act.
Prior to joining WTK in 2007, Ms. Anderson worked at Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker, LLP.
Ms. Anderson has been a member of the California Air National Guard since 1993.
