Ms. Giambra has been providing employment and labor services to private and public sector clients for approximately ten years. Her labor and employment practice concentrates on counseling and representing employers in the public and private sectors regarding a variety of labor and employment related issues, including but not limited to, Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the New York State Human Rights Law, New York State Labor Laws, the National Labor Relations Act and the Taylor Law.
Ms. Giambra has experience in federal court and regularly represents employers in traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining negotiations, arbitration and fact-finding as well as representation in administrative matters. She frequently conducts internal investigations for clients that have received discrimination and employment-related complaints. Additionally, Ms. Giambra represents clients in alternative dispute resolution formats, including mediation. Ms. Giambra is admitted to practice before all New York State Courts and the United States District Courts for the Western and Northern Districts of New York.
She received her B.A. degree from SUNY at Fredonia (Cum Laude) and attended the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School where she received her law degree (Cum Laude) in 2004, graduating in the top ten percent of her law school class. Ms. Giambra is a frequent instructor at seminars on a variety of labor and employment topics for entities such as the Erie County and New York State Bar Associations and other providers of continuing legal education. Ms. Giambra is currently the Chairperson of the Labor and Employment Law Committee of the Erie County Bar Association.
Ms. Giambra has been a member of the Kevin Guest House’s Affaire of the Heart Fund Raising Committee since 2008. Ms. Giambra resides in Lewiston, New York.
