Monica Dodd Calhoun is a partner at Giller & Calhoun, LLC. The firm specializes in pension plan issues for employers and service providers. The firm is very focused on 403(b) plans and the issues related to the new Treasury Regulations. Ms. Calhoun is a frequent speaker on pension and tax issues related to small business and not-for-profit plans. She has spoken at many organizations including ALI-ABA, CUPA and the OECD. She provides technical support to plan sponsors and plan service providers in designing compliant solutions that meet business needs. She has extensive experience in defined contribution plan design, pension product development and governmental plans.
Monica received her undergraduate and law degree from the State University of New York. She also has a Masters Degree in Taxation from New York University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in New York and Colorado. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Association of Life Insurance Counsel.
The firm has offices in New York and Denver. Ms. Calhoun is located in the Denver office.
