Stephanie Douglas is a specialist in appellate, class action, complex commercial, ERISA, and product liability litigation. Ms. Douglas offers practical business and technical experience, which she acquired during her ten-year engineering and consulting career.
Ms. Douglas has obtained very favorable pre-trial outcomes for clients in both federal and state courts. Ms. Douglas further refined her analytical and writing skills first during her federal-district-court clerkship for Judge John Feikens, and then during her federal-appellate-court clerkship with Judge Raymond Kethledge.
Before joining Bush Seyferth & Paige in 2012, Ms. Douglas was a judicial law clerk for Judge Feikens of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and for Judge Kethledge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, a founding partner of BSP. She was also an associate at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP from 2006 to 2009.
While attending the University of Michigan Law School, Ms. Douglas was the Executive Articles Editor for the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review and the Vice President of the Intellectual Property Students Association. These roles built on Ms. Douglas’s undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering (also from the University of Michigan) and her decade of experience as a business and technology consultant with Accenture (then Andersen Consulting). Ms. Douglas lives in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan with her husband Matt and their two children.
