Renée Welze Livingston is the author of “Overcoming the Challenges of Starting and Growing a Woman-Owned Law Firm.” She served on the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms Board of Directors from 2004-2012, and is a well-respected Arbitrator and Mediator in both the San Francisco and Contra Costa Superior Courts. She has sat on the Board of Directors of the University of the California Santa Barbara Alumni Association Board of Directors, 1991-1997, and has been a panelist for California Continuing Education of the Bar. She is on the faculty of the National Business Institute, and is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI); Association of Defense Counsel (ADC); National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL); American Bar Association, Queen’s Bench, California, and the San Francisco, Los Angeles and Contra Costa County Bar Associations.
