VENDOR AMBASSADOR PROGRAM CELEBRATES VALUED SPONSORS AT THE BUSINESS MEETING IN FORT LAUDERDALE

In a continuing effort to strengthen the relationships between vendors and attorneys, NAMWOLF once again sponsored the Vendor Ambassador Program as an important part of the February 2017 Business Meeting. Jane Kalata recruited attorneys to volunteer to serve as ambassadors who reached out to select vendors that were assigned to them. Ambassador-attorneys initially welcomed the vendors to the meeting and emphasized what an important role they played in the conference. Over the course of the meeting, ambassadors visited with the vendors to check on their ongoing needs, answered questions and provided information about NAMWOLF. Ambassadors also encouraged NAMWOLF members to spend time at the vendors’ tables. These opportunities gave the vendors multiple opportunities to explain to attendees what their company had to offer and how it might be useful to their practices.

For example, one of the vendors who attended the Business Meeting was Midwest Litigation Services. According to its Director of Business Development, Kristian Robert, the company has focused on fulfilling one goal: to be the most technologically advanced single-source court reporting, video and trial support provider in the country. Kristian and Account Manager Mert Seaton were on hand at the meeting to explain that for over 30 years, the company’s vision has become a reality and it is truly a one-stop shop for all an attorney’s needs, from pre-trial through post-trial. With 12 office locations and over 250 litigation service partners, Midwest Litigation Services has created a very convenient way to serve all litigation needs both in the Midwest, nationally and globally. The company’s comprehensive services are described in more detail at http://midwestlitigation.com/about/.

Similarly, Dave Galbenski, EVP of Strategic Initiatives for Lumen Legal, also attended the vendor expo. Dave explained that for 23 years, Lumen Legal has focused its energy on the legal field. The company specializes in contract staffing, secondments, document review, commercial contracts outsourcing, direct hire and legal spend analytics. In addition to providing that extensive array of legal support services, Lumen Legal is also certified by the Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) as a women-owned and operated business. This certification allows it to help its corporate clients meet their diversity spend targets. To learn more about Lumen Legal, see http://www.lumenlegal.com/about/.

Judging by the feedback ambassadors received after the meeting, the vendors welcomed the program and it appeared to be a resounding success this year. Many vendors expressed their gratitude for the special effort that NAMWOLF continues to make to include vendors as meaningful participants in the Business Meeting.
